Counselor (full-time)

Provide support to individuals and families victimized by domestic violence and/or sexual assault or other serious crimes. General duties include individual and group counseling, safety planning, assessment and referral to/collaboration with other community resource agencies. Counselors are responsible for the maintenance of all client files including service planning, case note documentation and data entry into a data management system. Travel, evenings and weekends required. Ability to obtain Act 33/34 clearances and a valid driver’s license required. Minimum education requirements include Bachelor’s degree and one year related experience.

Case Manager (full-time)

Responsible for the development and provision of service planning for emergency shelter, transitional housing and rapid re-housing program participants as well as general housing operations of on-site emergency shelter and transitional housing units to assure general program compliance and participant success. General duties include individual and group psychoeducation, safety planning, assessment and referral to/collaboration with other community resource agencies. Case Managers are responsible for the maintenance of all client files including service planning, case note documentation and data entry into a data management system. Travel, evenings and weekends required. Ability to obtain Act 33/34 clearances and a valid driver’s license required. Minimum education requirements include Bachelor’s degree and one year related experience.

Residential Service Specialist (full-time)

Responsible for maintaining 24-hour coverage of the shelter and hotline. Responsible for the upkeep of the emergency shelter facility. Assist victims of domestic violence and sexual assault in crisis by providing education and support while living in the emergency shelter. General duties include intake/assessment, safety planning, and crisis intervention Residential Service Specialists are to assist co-workers with the maintenance of all clients’ files including case note documentation and to perform data entry into a data management system. Ability to obtain Act 33/34 clearances and a valid driver’s license required. Minimum education requirements include high school diploma or GED.

Counseling Coordinator (full-time)

As a manager, the Counseling Coordinator is responsible for the implementation and oversight of social service interventions that address the psychosocial needs of victims of domestic violence, sexual assault and other violent crimes, while linking them with other community resources to enhance their physical, emotional and mental well-being. This position conducts screening and assessments, documents services utilizing an online data base, counsels and provides trauma-informed interventions to program participants, collaborates with outside agencies, and is responsible for the daily oversight of the counseling department and supervision of its staff. This position requires schedule flexibility to meet programming needs and includes travel, evenings and weekends. Ability to obtain Act 33/34 clearances and a valid driver’s license required. Minimum education requirements include a Master’s Degree in social work or counseling and two to three years of related experience.

Advocacy Coordinator (full-time)

As a manager, the Advocacy Coordinator assures that the educational needs of the community are met with professionalism by providing the most up-to-date and accurate information on domestic violence, sexual assault, other crime victimization, trauma and other related information. This position provides community outreach, collaborates with other agencies to improve the response to victims of violent crimes and community-based support and accompaniment to victims of domestic violence, sexual assault and other violent crimes as well as being responsible for the daily oversight of the advocacy department and its staff. This position requires schedule flexibility to meet programming needs and includes travel, evenings and weekends. Ability to obtain Act 33/34 clearances and a valid driver’s license required. Minimum education requirements include Bachelor’s degree and two to three years of related experience.
