SERVICES Provided

  • 24 Hour Hot-Line answered by trained volunteers and staff who offer nonjudgmental support and information about options and services available.

  • Temporary emergency shelter for 36 individuals fleeing abuse and violence

  • Four transitional housing apartments with residency for up to 2 years

  • Protection From Abuse Screenings

  • Individual and group counseling for children and adults

  • On-going and special topic support groups and workshops

  • 24 hr medical and legal advocacy and accompaniment

  • System & Individual Advocacy

  • Assistance for Victims of Juvenile offenders

  • Counseling/accompaniment for other Victims of Other Serious Crimes including services to older victims of crime

  • Community Education

  • Food pantry, personal products, and linen closets for shelter residents.

  • Training for professionals (Social service agencies, hospital personnel, law enforcement, courthouse staff and others)- including interventional practices

  • A speaker's bureau
